Wildfire outcomes are decided in the earliest minutes and hours — long before suppression crews ever arrive. That’s the window we’re focused on: how a fire is first noticed, how quickly that information reaches the people who can act on it, and how landscapes and infrastructure can be made more resistant to fast-moving fire in the first place. Our work draws on fire science, remote sensing, and applied data systems, brought together by a team that has spent careers studying how fire actually behaves in the field.

Early detection & situational awareness
Closing the gap between when a fire starts and when the people who can respond actually know about it — and know enough to act with confidence.
Landscape & infrastructure resilience
Making the terrain, structures, and systems in fire-prone areas inherently harder for fire to move through, not just easier to fight once it arrives.
Decision support for responders
Turning raw signal into judgment that fire agencies, utilities, and land managers can actually use under pressure and against the clock.
Partnering or piloting?
